Our LeadershipJames ShewardChief Executive Officer, Cofounder & Director Jim Sheward is Chief Executive Officer, Cofounder and Director of Fiberlink. He is recognized for building a strong team of technology professionals and securing the funding that has enabled Fiberlink to become a leading provider of mobile workforce software and services. Under Jim's leadership, Fiberlink has grown into a profitable, customer-focused company that is changing the way enterprises think about mobile computing. Recognizing the growing importance of productivity and the need to protect corporate resources by securing mobile workers, Jim has created a strategy and vision for Fiberlink that leverages best of breed security products and access options and combines them into an easy-to-use mobile working solution. Jim has won various awards including the Blue Chip Enterprise Award Year 2000 sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Mass Mutual Financial Group, the Greater Philadelphia's 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Software and Technology Services Category, and the 2004 Information and Technology Innovator Award from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Jim received a dual degree in economics and communications from the University of Virginia. Christopher ClarkPresident & Chief Operating Officer Chris joined Fiberlink in 2003 to deliver top-line revenue growth and to spearhead Fiberlink's transformation to become the premier software and services provider for secure mobile workforce solutions. As President & COO, Chris is responsible for the daily operations at Fiberlink, including inside sales, marketing, product, research and development as well as business strategy and worldwide business development initiatives. Chris' previous position was CEO and board member of a tier-one, private venture start-up in a turn-around situation where he delivered continuous revenue growth and cost reductions while securing significant progress in channels and penetration of F500 global accounts. Mark PartinChief Financial Officer Mark Partin joined Fiberlink in 2005 as the Chief Financial Officer of Fiberlink responsible for leading the financial strategy and transformation to a SaaS business. Mark manages all of the financial aspects of the company's global operations, including human resources, accounting and compliance, planning and forecasting, reporting and analysis and works closely with Fiberlink's CEO on business and corporate development. Mark has 18 years of financial and operating experience and has held CFO positions at both public and privately held companies in the Internet and technology industries. During his career, Mark was CFO for Headhunter.net, now Careerbuilder.com, where he successfully managed the Company’s IPO. As a private and public company CFO, Mark has been instrumental in partnering with company boards and management teams to achieve profitable growth (sometimes hyper-growth) in large and growing markets. Mark began his career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen in Atlanta, Georgia and has an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Steve HammondPresident, Fiberlink International Steve Hammond brings over 20 years of general management, business development and strategic marketing experience to Fiberlink. In his current role as President of Fiberlink International, Steve is responsible for profit management and sales development for a team dedicated to delivering secure mobile workforce solutions in EMEA and Asia Pacific. Previously, as vice president of business development for Fiberlink, Steve was responsible for developing new markets for Fiberlink's solutions and forming strategic partnerships and alliances with leading technology organizations. Prior to joining Fiberlink, Steve spent 19 years at Hilti USA and Hilti International in managerial roles. Most recently with Hilti International, Steve spent four years in Asia Pacific as general manager of Hilti Hong Kong, Ltd. where he was responsible for all strategic planning, profit management, sales development, product management and personnel development. Steve holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Millersville University. Jim SzafranskiSenior Vice President, Customer Platform Services Jim joined Fiberlink in 2004 as Vice President, Business Development helping establish new indirect sales channels. In 2006, Jim became VP of Product Management and Marketing, and was responsible for product strategy, customer requirements and marketing of Fiberlink's Mobility-as-a-Service platform. In 2008, he was promoted to SVP and is currently responsible for customer revenue and lifecycle management including customer acquisition, integration, professional services and education. Prior to Fiberlink, Jim was active in starting and growing multiple companies. He led the product line for Tut Systems that underpinned an IPO in 1999. He seed funded and subsequently raised over $45M in venture capital for Sandial Systems. Most recently, he was VP of Product Management at Cometa Networks, an Intel, IBM and AT&T venture. Jim earned a BS and MS degree in Computer Science from MIT and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. |
